The Yamaha YAS-2801 is an alto saxophone designed with the young player in mind. Lightweight, easy to hold and play, perfect intonation, great sound; everything a student would hope for in an instrument.
Building on the success of the YAS-275 alto sax, the YAS-2801 features a new neck receiver, improved Low B-C# mechanism and an adjustable thumb-rest. This is a great feature for students as it allows for precision and comfort with hand positioning on the instrument.
A Yamaha AS-4C mouthpiece and sturdy case are supplied with the saxophone.
